Ahead of our launch, we decided to let our community 'House of Sahara' and some of our dear supporters try our final recipes.
Receiving valuable feedback from people of different backgrounds and generations, allows us to deliver our mission: introducing a premium Moroccan fig based spirit drink to the UK market.
On Tuesday 24 October 2023, in a Bedouin tent in the heart of the City of London - or in other words, we hosted our first focus group. Our distinguished guests tried six different recipes of Sahara alongside Moroccan pastries kindly offered by Raphia.
Thanks to all attendees who believe in our project and our vision!
This evening was also a fundraiser for the British Moroccan Society, a British charity working at the epicentre of the earthquake that struck near Marrakech last month.
As a small British business with Moroccan roots, we want to join their efforts by hosting our first ever event in a spirit of solidarity and compassion towards people affected by the disaster.
